A really great course. Plenty of challenges for the good golfer and lots of holes with interesting features - elevated greens, water hazards, undulating fairways. Always in good shape, reliable green speeds. Only downside is it gets fantastically wet in winter. For rubbish golfers like me, it has loads of wildlife and some beautiful mature trees. Great grub in the clubhouse. Friendly team and unpretentious!

My first visit. Very much enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent. Warning. Don't go for the large breakfast unless you are very, very hungry. Chap doing the cooking, serving and bar was superb. Course was in good condition, some very interesting holes. All in all a great day. Going back next Friday. Great value as well.

Nice enough course, well maintained and some interesting holes but overall a very narrow punishing course! It felt like if you miss the fairway you lose the ball. You have to have the best round of your life or it will quickly turn into the worst!

Very tight, well kept, greens are fast ! Reception/ Pro was exceptionally. Only let down was no food when we finished the round , after a 1 pm start , would have like a heads up ! It was a Saturday

Loved this course it was in very good condition when we played it, some really challenging holes which needed course management to get a good score, would definitely play it again.

Had a great day of golf at aldersey golf club, not played here for a while, but the coarse was in fantastic condition, beautiful surroundings, greens were lightning fast. Cannot find one thing that was wrong with it. Great little club house, lovely staff and good food. A must to all golfers to play.

During my second visit to Aldersley Green Golf Club, I found that the golf course offered an interesting challenge, although it fell short of the quality offered by other clubs in the area. The facilities and service were still good, but the value for money wasn't as competitive as local clubs. I observed that the bunkers were out of play, the greens were lush but littered with pitch marks throughout the round,. The tees were not up to the same standard as my previous visit. This was somewhat disappointing, especially considering that the majority of players were club members. On a positive note, the fairways were well-maintained, and the implementation of divot bags seems to be a great idea. The staff were all extremely helpful, and the overall service at the club was excellent.

What a little gem, nicely kept, friendly welcome, gotta think about where to place your shot as well as some great open holes. Food was delicious and catering staff very helpful, only fault was imo need more sand in bunkers as lacking

Played this course on various occasions & am yet to ‘tame the beast’. Set in a beautiful & peaceful location, it’s a real test with no hole the same & each offering tough challenges to overcome, whether it be water, trees, doglegs or a particularly tricky raised green, protected by bunkers & water. At £25, it’s a bargain but make sure you take a few extra balls in your bag- you’ll need them!!

Played at Aldersey yesterday with a society I run. We tool 28 golfers and we all had a great day. Started of with a lovely full English breakfast. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Then played 18 holes on a very tough golf course which was in excellent condition. Will definitely be looking to get us booked in again next year. Cheers guys.
